New Cascade Locks principal Ed Drew talks with parent Scott
Sallenger while grilling hot dogs during the school’s open house
Monday night. Drew is a longtime educator and coach in the Hood
River County School District. He moved this year from being
principal of Wy’east Middle School to Cascade Locks. Students
throughout the district started classes Tuesday, and schools are
planning open houses, barbecues and other events to welcome
families back for the year. The school open houses are also open
to the community. |
