Second-graders from Westside Elementary cross State Street under
the guidance of their teacher, Kathryn Ritter, and four parents
on Thursday. The students took a three-stop field trip that was
part of their study of community. The students wore festive hats
from their caroling outing to Hawks Ridge Assisted Living
Center, which started the day, then went to the Hood River
County Library for a book talk with children’s librarian Jaynie
Guidinger. After that they went to Pietro’s for a tour, and
complimentary lunch. |
