An actor. An athlete. A student leader. They are three students actively involved in their schools.

Kory Harding, Mikayla Ryan and Hannah Wesner are three members of the Class of 2008 from Hood River County high schools who will tell the stories of their senior year.

Starting with this issue, the students have agreed to be interviewed, and to write their own accounts of activities and observations of the coming school year. Look for reports about once a month through June 2008. Below, meet the three seniors:

Mikayla Ryan, Cascade Locks:

Ryan, 18, was born in Oregon City and is Associated Student Body Vice President.

She competes on the volleyball and basketball teams.

Kory Harding, HRVHS

Harding, 18, was born in Portland. He has been active in school theater and dance, swim team and Earth Club, and marimba band.

Hannah Wesner, Horizon

Wesner, 17, was born in Medford and has attended Horizon Christian since grade four. She is Student Body President, serves on worship team, and plays guitar and piano.
