Chris and Melissa Bickle
3550 Broken Tee • Hood River
This beautiful modular home was built in four sections in Idaho over a period of six weeks. In 2001 it arrived in Hood River and took two weeks to assemble to Chris and Melissa’s specifications. Melissa designed the colorful interior, which she changes frequently. In the library, a watercolor by Angela Lynn features their children, Cody, 11, and Saranda, 8. The armoire is made of old doors. The kitchen has unique storage cabinets and a family area while the patio overlooks a beautiful garden. Upstairs on the east side is a laundry and Saranda’s bedroom, which features a dollhouse bed. Cody’s bedroom will be closed to house the pets. A master suite with balcony and view features a California King four-poster bed with beaded spread that highlights the room. The east side has an office with five computers, so all the family has their own setup, and a TV room with bar and places gaming. A nice feature is the theater room with six fully reclining chairs, where the family watches a movie together once a week. This is a lovely and functional family home.
