River Fellowship for Peace on Oct. 27.
At the fellowship’s
fourth annual dinner, Hagen Hoover-Lauble, of Mount Hood, was
presented the Walking Free Youth Award.

About 60 people gathered
at Riverside Community Church for the event and savored homemade
foods and conversations with old and new friends. During the
award presentations, themes of long-time, deep involvement in
the local community as well as the global community,
humanitarian efforts in crisis situations, education and actions
for peace with justice and fairness for all, were heard.

democracy and environmental health, beginning with being a

early membership in the peace fellowship, and as a founding
