Wy’east Outstanding Citizen for November 2007
is 8th grader Torey Schmidt. Torey is honored for his work and
support with our High Needs students, said school representative
Teri Adams.
Torey is not only a Lunch-Buddy for the High
Needs kids (enjoying lunch and community activities), he also
spends his Enrichment period helping out in Tim Pruitt’s wood
shop class. He has created some great friendships with these
kids and they enjoy his presence in class, according to Pruitt.
“We’d like to thank Torey for going beyond
being a Wy’east student and showing what an outstanding Wy’east
citizen can accomplish.”
