Storm 101
Best way to show thanks? Prepare

Hood River News Editorial
December 2, 2006

The storm is over.

Thanks go out to the public works employees, emergency responders, law enforcement, tow truck drivers, tire store employees, and anyone else involved in rescuing people from ditches or snow drifts, keeping streets and roads sanded and plowed, directing or equipping motorists, and the myriad other ways they worked to relieve problems and ensure safety.
