Trout Lake fest seeks art entries

The Trout Lake Arts Council invites artists to jury for the 13th Annual Festival of the Arts held July 19-20. Forty-five artists in all mediums of two- and three-dimensional art will be accepted; art will be judged on its quality and creativity. There will be live music all weekend, a hands-on children’s program and local food and drink.

Viento Burger Bar celebrates

Viento Burger Bar in Bingen celebrates its grand opening with a party Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. The community is welcome, and there will be food, giveaways, and menu items for sale. The restaurant, formerly Viento, features burgers, soups, steaks, and salads, using natural ingredients.

Connollys play around the Gorge

Buck Smith and the Connollys will play western swing at 7 p.m. at Hooba’s Restaurant at Husum Hills Golf Course, 820 State Highway 141. There is no charge to attend.

The Connollys are the featured band at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Bingen Eagles Lodge.

On Marcy 7, Bob and Lorri Connolly will perform their bluegrass, folk, country and roots rock at 6 p.m. at the Mint at Erin Glenn Vineyards, 715 E. Second St., The Dalles. There is no cover charge.
