was very active in the Catholic Church teaching CCD classes, was
a member of the Altar Society and also assisted in the upkeep of

High School, but her happiest time was when she was volunteering
in the medical records department of the Hood River Memorial
Hospital.

home in Trout Lake, Wash., on Nov. 9, 2007, surrounded by her

In 1989, Carlin and her family came to Trout

any instrument and play it. She spoke French fluently and was
devoted to her yoga practice.
Carlin was the most loving mother and a very
nurturing person. An incredibly positive woman, she touched and
enriched the lives of everyone she met. Even during her battles,
Carlin’s face never wore a frown.
Carlin Whigham is survived by her husband,
Guy Whigham, of Trout Lake; daughters Nina Bennett and Linda
Whigham, both of Maui, and son, Keith Whigham, of Long Beach,
Calif.; and brother Peter Goff of Sebastian, Fla. She was
