Janine Larsen
Janine Larsen, a devoted wife, a loving mother
and an avid animal lover, passed away Dec. 3, 2007.
We lost her while she was doing what she loved:
feeding the birds and squirrels at her bird feeder.
Born Aug. 20, 1924, in Brussels, Belgium, Janine
was a baroness who came to the United States while in her 30s.
She met David Larsen in Hollywood, Calif., and they wed in July
of 1960 and have spent 47 years together.
Janine rescued many dogs over her lifetime
giving them a loving home. She loved plants, flowers and every
living creature as was evident in her lovely home.
Janine is survived by her husband, David; her
daughter, Monique Taylor and her husband, Guy; grandson,
Cameron; and granddaughter, Kiki; all of Hawaii. We will all
miss her terribly.
We all have comfort knowing that Janine is now
in the Lord’s loving care, with all her passed- away loved ones,
and doggies.
We will be celebrating her life with a Catholic
Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Hood River on Wednesday, Dec. 12,
at 11 a.m.
