Final election results
for May 15 election

Results are in for the Hood River County Special Districts election. The tallies are unofficial until the election results are certified June 5.

Judy Nelson, Art Carroll, and Glenna Mahurin have claimed the three spots on the Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District. Incumbent Ross Brown lost.

Incumbent Jean McLean kept her seat for the Port of Cascade Locks by fending off challenger Don Haight.

In the Ice Fountain Water District, incumbents Don Decker and Brad Fowler kept their seats beating out Randy Franz.

There were a total of 2,246 votes cast from the 10,090 registered voters or a total of 23 percent.

Kateri Osborne Lohr — 224 votes
