The Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association has named
Hood River business owner Cynthia Christensen to their Book Awards
committee for the next two years.
“I look forward to reading all of the nominated books
and giving well deserved recognition to some of our finest Pacific
Northwest authors," she said.
Christensen, along with six other booksellers in the
Pacific Northwest, will review nominated books written by Northwest
authors. These reviews will be for the yearly PNBA Northwest Book awards.
Some past award winners include Pete Fromm, Erik Larson, David James
Duncan, and Diana Abu-Jabar.
