The garden is located on the corners of Dee Highway, Baseline/Old Parkdale and Garden Club roads.

There will be garden-ready plants and trees, and baked goods available. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the garden maintenance fund.

Summer is such a great time to enjoy all of the many outdoor activities available in our beautiful Columbia Gorge.

It’s also a great time of year to enjoy the pastime of reading with your children. Students will be better prepared for school in the fall if they read/are read to over summer break.

The Hood River County Library is holding its annual reading program again this summer, so pop into our Parkdale branch and sign your children up for some fun prizes, and check out some great summer reads.

Parkdale library hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 2 to 5 p.m., and Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m.
