Senior driver David
Johnson operates the lift on the River’s Edge tow truck
Thursday afternoon as two rigs were needed to pull this car up
from an embankment.
Brian Sherrell, 39, of Hood River, and his daughter, Julian
Sherrell, 13, were in the front of this vehicle that hit a
tree on Tucker Road Monday afternoon near McCurdy Farms. Both
were transported to the hospital, treated and released.
Firefighters had to cut the car apart to get Brian out.
Hood River County Sheriff’s Deputy Pete Hughes said “It was amazing
no one was dead.”
The road was closed for two hours. |
