The City Public Works Department will start its Christmas tree disposal program on Wednesday, Jan. 2, and will continue to pick up Christmas trees through Monday, Jan. 7.

Please put your trees at curbside and not in the street or blocking the sidewalk. Residents can also bring their trees directly to the Public Works facility at 18th and May streets Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during this period. Please check in at the office before dropping off.

As a reminder, the Public Works Department ended its leaf disposal program. Residents will now need to dispose their leaves at the Hood River Transfer Station, 3440 Guignard Road. Disposal on a Wednesday is free.
