A new series, “Fruits of Their Labors: An
Orchard Year, From Branch to Bin,” starts in the March 12 Hood River News.
Reporter RaeLynn Ricarte will focus on the people and the trees of one
Hood River Valley orchard operation, monthly through October. Readers can
follow the travails of a fruit-growing season, from pruning (above) to
picking.
