Complimentary valet
parking for patients, families and visitors will be offered at
Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital beginning Nov. 12 and
continuing through the construction phase.
This free service will
be available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. through
mid-afternoon depending on demand at the hospital’s main
entrance.
“PHRMH is pleased to
provide this important service,” said Jean Sheppard, associate
administrator at the hospital. “Adding complimentary valet
parking to our facility will enhance safety and convenience for
our patients as well as their family members or friends who
drive them to the hospital.”
Those who would like to
use the new valet parking service can drive up to the main
entrance of the hospital and simply hand their keys to the
uniformed parking attendant. Their car will be parked, locked
and returned to them at the same location, as soon as they’re
ready for it.
Trained parking
attendants also assist with wheelchairs, walkers and personal
items. Volunteers will direct or personally escort visitors to
their destination.
Signs will direct
patients to the valet station at the main entrance of the
hospital located at 13th and May streets. General parking and
handicapped-access parking will still be available for those who
prefer to self-park.

and construction, please call the hospital’s construction
