The annual “Give Kids A Smile Campaign” returns to two Hood River dental clinics on Friday.

As part of a national effort involving thousands of dentists and dental technicians, children from birth to 15 can receive free dental checkups and preventive and restorative services starting at 8 a.m.

Children ages birth to 8 should go to Kidz Dental Zone, 419 State St., Suite 4, Hood River (next to Hood River News), 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Children ages 9-15 should go to LaClinica, 849 Pacific Ave., 8 a.m. to noon.

The Mid-Columbia Dental Society sponsors the campaign. All services are free, and no appointment is necessary. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; interpreters will be available.
