Feb. 1 — Bonneville Drive at Tucker Road — Officers respond to an assault.

Feb. 5 — 15th Street at C Street — Hood River male arrested for menacing another person with a knife.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Jan. 28 — Second Street, 100 block — Adult male cited for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana.

Feb. 4 — Highway 35 at Lower View Point — Adult male cited for the possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

Jan. 25 — Cascade Avenue, 2300 block — Male was arrested and charged with probation violation and criminal mischief.

Jan. 28 — Second Street, 100 block — Male was arrested for disorderly conduct II.

Jan. 28 — 12th Street, 1500 block — Officer responded to a report of security officers using a taser on a subject at the Hood River Armory. Multiple subjects appeared to be fighting. Two subjects fled the scene. Suspects were located in the yard of a nearby residence and taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct II and minor in possession of alcohol by consumption. Both were lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 27 — Cascade Avenue at 10th Street — Female arrested for DUII.

Jan. 30 — Seventh Street at Cascade Avenue — Male was arrested for DUII, reckless driving and attempting to elude police during traffic stop. He registered a BAC of .09.

Identity theft or credit card fraud:

Jan. 27 — Eighth Street, 1100 block — Officer made contact with Hood River resident regarding identity theft.

Feb. 2 — Owner of Heights Shell contacted about an adult male writing checks on an account that was not his.

Feb. 3 — 13th Street, 1400 block — Officer took report of possible fraud ring out of New Hampshire. The victim shipped a solar RV kit to an unknown buyer at a UPS store who was using a stolen credit card.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Jan. 26 — 12th Street at Eliot Drive — Officer responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash.

Jan. 27 — Button Bridge Road at Toll Booth — A Hood River man drove in a manner which endangered his two children in the vehicle, other motorists on the roadway, and damaged property at the Hood River Toll Bridge.

Jan. 31 — Oak Street, 100 block — Female was arrested for outstanding warrant. She was transported to NORCOR and lodged.

Feb. 3 — Fifth Street at Oak Street — Male was arrested for outstanding warrant.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Jan. 28 — Cascade Avenue, 3600 block — Women was issued a citation for theft II after taking a $204 lottery machine ticket from a patron of bar. She was allowed to leave the scene. Ticket was returned to owner.

Jan. 28 — Cascade Avenue, 2000 block — Two Hood River females were arrested after shoplifting in multiple stores and getting into a physical confrontation with store personnel when confronted.

Jan. 25 — Fifth Street, 1100 block — Officer responded to a report of endangering the welfare of a minor and child abuse.

Jan. 25 — Ninth Court, 1500 block — Officer contacted female at the Child Advocacy Center about possible sexual assault.

Jan. 30 — Prospect Avenue, 1200 block — Officer took report of juvenile runaway. Female juvenile left her home at about 11 p.m. Officers searched surrounding areas but could not locate the female. At about 1:30 a.m., her parents called to say she’d returned.

Jan. 31 — Ninth Street, 1500 block — Officer took complaint of telephonic harassment.

Jan. 15 — Oak Street, 1300 block — Male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop. Suspect was lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 24 — 12th Street, 1700 block — Officer received a report of a female writing fraudulent prescriptions for narcotics.

Jan. 12 — Woods Court, 1600 block — An adult was arrested for disorderly conduct while refusing to leave the Center for Living facility.

Jan. 14 — Belmont Avenue, 1300 block — Male was arrested for disorderly conduct following an incident in the restaurant parking lot.

Jan. 14 — Second Street, 100 block — Two individuals reported harassment by a male.

Jan. 14 — Ninth Street at Hazel Avenue — Female arrested for DUII after failing field sobriety tests.

Jan. 16 — Sixth Street, 1700 block — Female was arrested for identity theft for the use of a fraudulent social security card.

Jan. 15 — Eugene Street at Park Street — A driver in a box truck slid on ice and crashed into a city sign, breaking it at its base.

Jan. 15 — Columbia Street between Fourth and Fifth streets — Male reported a hit-and-run to his vehicle which was parked overnight in a residential area.

Jan. 20 — First Street at Oak Street and Cascade Avenue — Resident reported a hit-and-run involving a semi truck that sideswiped several vehicles.

Jan. 11 — Sieverkropp Drive, 900 block — Female was arrested for probation violation.

Jan. 13 — Cascade Avenue, 3400 block — Adult was arrested for probation violation and driving while suspended.

Jan 12 — Montello Avenue, 1200 block — Male was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Jan. 14 — Country Club Road at Frankton Road — Male passenger at a traffic stop was found to be in violation of a conditional release with curfew.

Jan. 16 — Oak Street, 1600 block — Juvenile male was arrested for probation violation after threatening to jump off of the Second Street overpass.

Jan. 18 — Oak Street at Cascade Avenue — Male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. While in the police car during transport, suspect attempted to hide a schedule II drug and was charged with possession.

Jan. 21 — Cascade Avenue, 2200 block — Male was arrested for conditional release terms violations.

Jan. 22 — Ninth Street, 1500 block — Two males were arrested for probation violation. Both were intoxicated at the time of arrest with .17 percent and .16 percent BAC in violation of their probation. Both were lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 23 — State Street Courthouse — Male was arrested on an outstanding warrant and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 17 — Oak Street, 1600 block — Male reported someone entering his vehicle, stealing a radio and attempting to steal the entire vehicle. Ignition protection system prevented theft of car.

Jan. 21 — Cascade Avenue, Walmart parking lot — Theft of services was reported.

Jan. 15 — Police offices — Female reported attempted rape by an estranged spouse.

Jan. 16 — Officers responded to an unattended death at a local assisted living residence.

Jan. 3 — Oak Street, 200 block — Property owner reported a broken security light.

Jan. 10 — C Street, 1200 block — A warrant to arrest was issued for a male following a bomb threat to a local business charging telephonic harassment and disorderly conduct. Building was cleared and secured prior to the arrest.

Jan. 7 — Button Bridge — Male was arrested for DUII.

Jan. 8 — Cascade Avenue, 2600 block — Male was arrested for failing a field sobriety tests during a traffic stop. Suspect refused a breath test and was lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 9 — Montello Avenue, 1200 block — Resident reported fraudulent use of a credit card used to purchase online game credits.

Jan. 9 — 12th Street, 1800 block — Rosauers store employee reported an attempted use of stolen checks.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Jan. 6 — C Street at 13th Street — Officer responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident. Victim pedestrian was transported to the PHRMH emergency room via private vehicle prior to officer’s arrival.

Jan. 8 — C Street, 1300 block — Male was arrested for multiple warrants from multiple counties.

Jan. 9 — Oak Street, 1300 block — Male was arrested for probation violation.

Jan. 10 — College Way and Pacific Avenue — Female was arrested for two outstanding warrants. Vehicle involved was towed from the scene.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

Jan. 5 — Wasco Street, 2700 block — Manager of Walmart reported a theft.

Jan. 8 — Ninth Street, 500 block — Male was arrested for theft after taking a cellphone from an individual while staying at the warming shelter. Suspect was located hiding behind a nearby building and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 4 — Hood River — Officer received a found backpack containing miscellaneous fishing equipment which was reportedly found along the Hood River beneath the footbridge.

Jan. 5 — Woods Court, 1600 block — Employee made a report of possible child abuse.

Jan. 8 — First and Oak Streets — Officer found a tool bag on the sidewalk and took the bag to HRPD offices for safekeeping.

Jan. 9 — Tenth Street, 1000 block — Resident turned in a found driver’s license to HRPD. Expired license was turned over the DMV.

Jan. 10 — Cascade Avenue, 3600 block — Officer assisted OSP in the arrest of a male.

Jan. 10 — Hood River Toll Bridge — Officer received a driver’s license for a Washington state individual that was left at the Toll Bridge. License was returned to the individual.

Dec. 16 — May Street, 1600 block, Hood River Middle School — Female juvenile reported being bit on the arm by a male juvenile while riding the bus.

Dec. 21 — Belmont Avenue, 1700 block — Officer responded to a complaint of an unwanted suspect at a residence. Suspect left the scene prior to officer’s arrival.

Dec. 23 — Oak Street, 1300 block — Male was arrested for harassment and disorderly conduct after arguing with his mother in the parking lot of Prater’s Motel. Suspect was lodged at NORCOR.

Dec. 31 — Cascade Avenue, 3600 block — Officers responded to the Red Carpet Inn following a 9-1-1 hang-up call. Several subjects identified a male suspect inside of a car who had just assaulted someone inside of the bar. The male was arrested and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 1 — Sherman Street, 300 block — Two males were arrested and lodged at NORCOR for assault following a fight.

Dec. 15 — Interstate 84 at exit 63 westbound — Officer responded to a motor vehicle crash. Male juvenile passenger admitted to being intoxicated, was cited and released to an adult at the scene at the request of his mother.

Dec. 22 — 12th Street, 1800 block — Officer collected a found piece of paper that contained methamphetamine. Substance was placed into evidence for destruction.

Dec. 24 — Second Street, 100 block — Adult was arrested for possession of cocaine.

Dec. 23 — Wasco Street, 900 block — Sprint building staff reported an unwanted individual on the premises.

Dec. 30 — Prospect Avenue, 1700 block — Officers apprehended and cited individuals who had been throwing eggs at a residence.

Jan. 1 — 16th Street at B Street — Male was arrested for DUII after refusing field sobriety tests following a traffic stop. Suspect was cited and released.

Dec. 15 — Interstate 84 at exit 63 westbound — Officer responded to a motor vehicle crash. Driver was cited for reckless driving and endangering.

Dec. 15 — 12th Street, 1700 block — an unidentified male struck a victim’s rear passenger door while in the parking lot of Walgreen’s then fled the scene.

Dec. 16 — 13th and C Street — Officer responded to a non-injury, two-car motor vehicle crash.

Dec. 19 — Ninth Court at Pacific Avenue — Male was arrested for driving while suspended.

Dec. 19 — C Street, 1500 block — Resident reported a hit-and-run accident.

Dec. 22 — 12th Street at Pacific Avenue — Officer responded to a three-car motor vehicle crash. No injuries resulted.

Dec. 23 — 12th Street at Hull Street — Female was arrested for driving while suspended.

Dec. 24 — Pine Street, 700 block — Male reported a hit and run in front of his residence had damaged his vehicle. Suspect vehicle was a white SUV.

Dec. 24 — May Street, 2400 block — Resident reported a vehicle being struck while parked on the side of the street with no witnesses.

Dec. 26 — Nina Lane and May Street — Officer observed a vehicle traveling west at a high rate of speed. Radar displayed a speed of 55 mph. The driver pulled onto Nina Lane and parked in a common parking area, fleeing the vehicle with valuables and keys left inside. Vehicle was towed.

Dec. 28 — Front Street at State Street — Male ran over a stop sign.

Dec. 30 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Male reported his van was struck and damaged in the Walmart parking lot.

Jan. 1 — Fifth and Oak Streets — Officer took a report of a hit-and-run which occurred in the intersection.

Dec. 19 — Brookside Drive, 1300 block — Male reported a violation of a restraining order for a known woman.

Dec. 21 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Woodburn Police Department provided information on a female arrested for forgery and theft charges who had written checks at the Hood River Walmart. Suspect is in custody in Woodburn jurisdiction.

Dec. 22 — Oak Street, 100 block — Female guest reported theft of jewelry while staying at the Hood River Hotel in October.

Dec. 27 — Oak Street, 1600 block — Resident reported a burglary and theft of items.

Dec. 18 — Montello Avenue — A female reported being raped by a known individual. Suspect was contacted by phone but was unable to be located. Report was forwarded to the DA for investigation.

Dec. 18 — May Street, 1600 block, HRMS — Officer took custody of a recovered bicycle.

Dec. 21 — Oak Street, 1300 block — Officers responded to reports of a possible suicidal individual.

Dec. 22 — Cascade Avenue, 1800 block — Officers took custody of found property at Cascade Car Wash.

Dec. 25 — 24th Street — Female was placed on an officer’s mental hold and transported to PRHMH for mental health evaluation after reports from family members indicated a possible suicide attempt. Prescription pills were found on the individual.

Dec. 18 — Montello Avenue, 2300 block — Officer responded to a domestic disturbance.

Dec. 28 — Second Street, 200 block — Diabetic kit was found and taken into custody outside of the police department offices.

Dec. 29 — Cascade Avenue, 3600 block — Officer responded to a report of suspicious activity. Found property was taken into custody.

Dec. 30 — Fifth Street, 0-100 block — Officer took a report of a lost iPod Touch left at the cinema.

Jan. 2 — State Street, 600 block — Man turned in an identification holder that he found.

Jan. 2 — Eighth Street, 1900 block — Officers responded to reports of a resident within a care facility who became combative with staff and residents. Subject was referred to the Mid-Columbia Center for Living.

Nov. 28 — 12th Street, 700 block — Officer obtained a courtesy report for a domestic assault from Washington County.

Dec. 3 — May Street at 12th Street — Female reported an assault.

Dec. 5 — Cascade Avenue, 2100 block — Male reported being assaulted, harassed and strangled on Dec. 3 while at a retail store. Report forwarded to DA for warrant consideration.

Dec. 9 — 12th Street, 800 block — Staff provided officer details of an assault.

Dec. 3 — Cascade Avenue, 200 block — Officers on foot patrol observed adult male throw a baggie containing a white powder over a railing upon approach. Powder field-tested positive for cocaine and adult was lodged at NORCOR.

Dec. 9 — Wasco Avenue, 2700 block — Male was cited for possession of marijuana while parked outside of Walmart.

Dec. 12 — Cascade Avenue near Fourth Street — Officers responded to a report of several people fighting outside Crazy Pepper restaurant. After investigation, it was determined that there was no fight; however an underage female was cited for underage drinking.

Dec. 14 — Interstate 84 at milepost 76 — Following a traffic stop, adult was cited for possession of marijuana.

Dec. 1 — W. Cascade Avenue near Szeremi’s 76 station — Adult was cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured. Vehicle was towed.

Dec. 5 — Cascade Avenue, 2200 block — Officer took a report of a hit-and-run at the west corner of the Safeway parking lot.

Dec. 10 — Third Street at Cascade Avenue — Male reported damage to his vehicle while he was in a bar in the downtown area. He reported finding his car parked in a different location than where he left it.

Dec. 12 — Walmart parking lot — Officer’s responded to a report of unattended children in a car who were found to be attempting to shift the car into reverse.

Oct. 23 — Interstate 84 at milepost 63 westbound — Officer attempted a traffic stop on a motorcycle. When cruiser lights were activated, the motorcycle driver attempted to elude, reaching speeds exceeding 120 mph. The motorcycle was located at Viento Park and the suspect fled on foot. Suspect was later identified.

Oct. 23 — 12th Street at Nix Drive — Male flagged down an officer to report a hit-and-run to his vehicle which occurred near Nix Drive. Damage was done to the front fender.
