Grants Pass too much for Eagles
Grants Pass - Hood River High School's
long road trip south for its 2008 football season opener Friday resulted
in a 43-7 loss to Grants Pass High School.
The Eagles fumbled on their first play
from scrimmage and Grants Pass scored a few plays later, taking an
8-0 lead 26 seconds into the game. The Cavemen led 36-0 at
halftime.
Hood River avoided a shutout on Sean Baker's
short TD run late in the third quarter.
