OSAA redistricting info
At its Sept. 10 redistricting
meeting, the Oregon School Activities Association presented a
new league proposal. The proposal, the ninth in the process,
moved Hood River Valley High School and The Dalles-Wahtonka from
an East Portland Metro league and into the Intermountain
conference, where HRV spent 2002-06.

Big plays key Spartan win over Eagle

team on Friday, the Hood River Valley Eagles needed to keep
athletic Spartans quarterback Dominic Mims contained in the
pocket, making him one dimensional and stopping him from

goals from Sam Chavez, one from Felipe Heredia and gutty
performances from sophomore goalkeeper Jesus Granados and the
team's entire defense to beat Central Catholic 3-2 Thursday.
