Seattle-based Flamenco dancer Savannah Fuentes presents a night of Flamenco featuring singer Jesus Montoya of Sevilla, guitarist Bobby de Sofia, as well as dancers Savannah Fuentes and Ricardo Chavez.
There are very few Flamenco singers in the U.S. Savannah is passionate about sharing true cante (the art of Flamenco singing) with every audience. She is honored to share the stage with el Maestro Jesus Montoya. Born in Sevilla, cantaor Jesus Montoya began touring professionally at the age of 13, he has sung all over the world with legendary Flamenco artists and many prestigious opera companies.
Jesus was featured as the voice of Riuz Alonzo in the production and recording of Ainadamar Fountain of Tears, which won Grammies for "Best Classical Contemporary Composition" and "Best Opera Recording" in 2007.
