A Mardi Gras dinner fundraiser will be held from 6-8 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 11th and Eugene streets in Hood River.
Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday, also known as Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent.
The meal will cost $15 per family of four or $5 per person and will feature jambalaya, gumbo, red beans and rice, corn bread and King cakes. Donations are also welcome; proceeds go to support the Hood River community’s emergency voucher program.
