Hood River Valley Growers, Residents and Property Owners: Are you concerned with the growing numbers of deer and elk moving through your orchards and property? We are looking for a comprehensive approach to managing deer and elk in our area. Please join us for: Hood River Valley Deer & Elk: A Comprehensive Planning Session Forrest Frantz, who has been tracking the habitat and migration patterns for the deer and elk in our area, will be presenting. Mike Moore, assistant district wildlife biologist from The Dalles district office of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, will be there to answer questions. Information will also be provided by the Oregon Farm Bureau on how they have been working with state agencies and landowners in Eastern Oregon in dealing with these same issues.
