Kickoff: Hood River County Reads project

Hood River County Reads kickoff, 5-7 p.m. at the Cascade Locks Library. Free copies of this year’s book selection, “Ricochet River,” by Robin Cody, will be available. The coming-of-age story is set in a small Oregon logging town in the 1960s. Other related events include a public reading by the author at the Hood River County Library on Sunday, April 14, at 2 pm. This project is sponsored by the Friends of the Hood River County Library.
