Continuing legal education class for Mid-Columbia Bar members, 5 p.m. at 6th Street Bistro, presented by Oregon State Bar President Michael Haglund. At 6:30 he will be at the Hood River County Library, where he will give a reading to the general public from his book, “World’s Most Dangerous: A History of the Columbia River Bar, its Pilots and Their Equipment” ($45, Columbia River Maritime Museum).
