The Dalles Civic Auditorium is seeking a 30-40 year old man interested in playing the serious main role of J.B. in the Pulitzer Prize winning play “J.B.” by Archibald MacLeish. This play is a modern day rendering of the story of Job. Director Garry Estep brings 20 years of professional experience in theatre and music (Cincinnati, New York, Nashville) to the Columbia River Gorge for this production set in Middle America during the Cold War Era. The production is scheduled for Friday and Saturday evenings at the newly renovated Dalles Civic Auditorium on October 12, 13, 19, 20 (2018) with a Sunday matinee on October 14. Main character rehearsals are in progress every two weeks. Coaching and character development are the foci of the first six months.
