4th Annual Gorge Culture Fest

Please join us for the 4th Annual Gorge Culture Fest at the CGCC Hood River Campus!
This free event will have a variety of engaging performers and opportunities to participate, such as an African Drumming workshop and Salsa Dancing Lesson. The Culture Fest provides an chance to celebrate the diverse backgrounds of those in our community and experience cultures other than your own. Bring your family and friends, all are welcome to this free event!
Schedule of Entertainment:
11:00 - 11:15   Community Meditation with Ellen Donoghue
11:15 - 12:15   Obo Addy Legacy Project Drumming Workshop (30 drums - 1st come 1st serve)
12:30 - 1:15   Song Dynasty Chinese Jazz Band, sponsored by Taipei Economic and Cultural Office
1:30 - 2:15   Salsa Dancing Demo and Lesson by the Secret Salsa Society
2:30 - 2:50   Pinata Contest for kids led by the CGCC Juntos Club
3:00 - 4:00   N'chi Wanapum Canoe Family Dancers from Warm Springs, OR
Other Activities:
  • 1:00 - 1:45 Privileges for Sale Workshop led by the CGCC Gender and Sexuality Alliance
  • Short Performances by the Columbia Gorge Music Society at CGCC
  • Family friendly activities provided by community partners
  • Food carts, including Taiwanese Beef Noodle (for sale)
  • Free snacks!
