Offset Printing

At Columbia Gorge Press, we use the Offset Lithography technique of printing. In this technique, an inked image on an aluminum printing plate is printed on a rubber "blanket" and is then transferred to paper. Here at Columbia Gorge Press, we utilize Goss Community Web presses and a Quad-Stack press. Our press line consists of four color process towers and mono (one-color) printing units. The process is an "open web" non-heat set method of printing.

Sheet-Fed Printing

The sheet-fed operation of Columbia Gorge Press has been in operation for more than 100 years. It’s a perfect complement to our web presses and includes AB Dick and Heidelberg Kord equipment. We stock a variety of paper stocks in different sizes, weights and brightness levels. Some are coated and gloss papers for four-color printing of covers, brochures or post cards. Contact us to arrange for a special order stock.
