Collector: David Douglas and the Natural History of the
Northwest,” a program with slideshow at the Columbia

Spokane-based author Jack
Nisbet will present the program based on his new book of the same
name, which won the 2010 Pacific Northwest Booksellers Book of the
Year award. It traces early Scottish naturalist David Douglas’
adventures through the Columbia Gorge between 1824-34.

hunt, obstacle course, costume contest and more. Proceeds from
sales of bottled wine and a raffle will be donated to Adopt A Dog.

options and more. A screening test is offered to participants at
