This is going to be one of the last great shows of 2002 at the River City Saloon.
Public Groovement is an up and coming funk and groove ensemble from the Portland area and on Friday they make their debut at the River City Saloon with a 9:30 p.m. show.
They have recently shared the stage with the likes of area favorites Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormans, and The Big Island Shindig to name just a few.
On Saturday, the crazy Jesus Presley show hits the Saloon for a Christmas Party to end all Christmas Parties.
“We have put together some wonderful Holiday shows for you this year. The season is all about naughty and vice and Jesus Presley whips up some Yuletide classics that even makes jolly Old Saint Nick himself wanna sin,” said Presley.
On Friday, Dec. 20, the Jim Basnight Band makes a trip to Hood River for a 9:30 p.m. show at the Saloon.
Born in Seattle, The Jim Basnight Band has members with extensive and unique musical backgrounds.
The band, fronted by Jim Basnight on vocals and guitars, combines jazz, blues, country, and acoustic rock flavors in some of the finest pop songs around, yet still appealing to mass audience response by piercing a new free-form pop genre.
