Wrestlers take on Hermiston Thursday

Krizman named to all-state first team

The Oregonian announced Tuesday that HRV senior running back Jacobe Krizman was named to the 4A all-state first team. Teammate Matt Cody was recognized as an all-state third team offensive guard. For more, see the Dec. 17 Oregonian.

Odell little league meeting tonight

The Odell Little League chapter will host a meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at Wy’east Laboratories, located in the Weber Business Park in Odell. Agenda will include new uniforms and fundraising. HR Little League committee meeting

The Hood River Little League local committee will hold its next meeting on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. Call Becky Kopecky at 387-3777 with questions.

HRV baseball teams need coaching help

Julee’s Gorge Tours snowshoe trip

Snow is finally here and Julee’s Gorge Tours is looking for people to sign up for a Mt. Hood snowshoe trip this Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Distance is between 3-6 miles and cost (including guides, equipment, lunch and snacks) is $45. Carpools will meet at Airtime Clothing in downtown Hood River. For more information, visit
