Meadows donates to skate park

Hood River Parks and Recreation District Director Lori Stirn announced this week that Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort has donated $1,000 to the Hood River Skatepark fund. Meadows VP Dave Riley said, “We support the new skatepark because we feel that outdoor recreation is a great way for kids to keep themselves occupied and in good physical shape.” The parks district is currently raising funds to enhance the Rotary Skatepark, located at 20th and Wasco streets.
