Cast opens its fall production Oct. 25 for a three week run. The show is Edward Albee’s “Three Tall Women,” directed by Greg Gilbertson. The winner of the 1994 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Albee’s play explores the long life and triumphs of an admirable older woman as she reflects back on life, love, estrangement, and heartbreak. It is both a reflection on survival as well as a monument to dying with grace.
Albee is best known for his 1962 drama, “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” The cast of Three Tall Women includes Irene Fields, Mary Fassel, and a newcomer to CAST, Maritza Glasgow. “Three Tall Women” will run Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 9, with a Sunday matinee on Nov. 3. Tickets are $10 in advance and are available at Waucoma Bookstore, Klindt’s Booksellers and Collage of the Gorge. Tickets are $12 at the door. For information call CAST at 386-8855.
