week’s home match-ups.

Carson Oil versus Reynolds:
Carson lost 5-2 in nine innings. Robby Kloster pitched six innings and Ryan Nelson pitched three. The two combined for a four-hitter, with 13 strike outs. At bat Elliott Sherrel went 2 for 4, hitting two singles.
Carson Oil versus The Dalles:
Carson defeated The Dalles 15-8 in seven innings. On the mound, Colby Richards had seven strike outs in three and a half innings. Jordan Peldyak closed the game out with three strike outs. At bat, Andy Williams went three for four, Shay Huskey went two for four with two doubles, and Robby Kloster went two for four. The team combined for 11 total hits in the game.
"Our pitching has been very solid the last couple of games, which has given us a chance to win ball games," commented team manager Jake Williams. "It seems like we are really starting to gel as a team, which is a good thing because we start our tournaments in the next couple of weeks. I'm super-proud of these kids, they have started to show up to the ballpark every day ready to compete."
