A traffic pattern change is now in effect at 12th and May streets, one of Hood River’s busiest intersections, in one of three such changes in town. Oregon Department of Transportation made the change last week. At 12th and May streets, there is no right turn on the red light; traffic may proceed only on a green light. Meanwhile, at Front and State streets downtown, traffic is required to stop in all three directions. And effective May 9, the intersection at Eighth and Pacific streets on the Heights is a four-way stop.
