Hollyhocks will soon be a shadow of themselves, as will the other blooms that joined with prime weather to grace the early autumn in the Gorge. Temperatures of around 30 degrees, and frost, descended on Hood River Tuesday morning, giving sunny days that follow the honor of Indian Summer.
