Eleven schools from around the state hit the Hood River Pool Saturday morning for the Hood River Valley High School invitational.

While Summit High School wound up with the overall boys title and Redmond finished first among the girls, Eagles swimmers had several good showings on the day. The boys side finished second and had a strong day in the relays. The boys 200 medley relay “A” team won as did the 200 freestyle relay team. The boys individual performances were led by Zed and Peter Debbaut, who both had several first place finishes.

The girls saw string individual swims from Erin Jones and Fatima Valle as well as a third place performance from the 400 Freestyle relay “A” team.
