Candidate filings for the May 15 election closed Thursday afternoon. The latest filings include:
* Hood River County Transportation District — Thomas Penchoen, Nancy Moller
* Odell Sanitary District — John Alley
* Crystal Springs Water District — Larry Brown
* Parkdale Rural Fire Protection District — Leonard Aubert
* Pine Grove Rural Fire Protection District — Daniel Sheppard
* Cascade Locks School Committee — Leif Fox and Ken Wittenburg
* Hood River Middle School Committee — Cindy Walbridge
* Mid Valley Elementary School Committee — Denise Endow
* Pine Grove Elementary School Committee — Mark Crompton
* Westside Elementary School Committee — Debbie Dorich, Christopher Van Tilburg, Renee van de Griend
* Columbia Gorge Community College Position 3 — Dave Fenwick.
* Region 9 ESD board, Zone 6 — Jenny Copper
