May Street Elementary fourth-grader Cielo Madrigal has fun with the color purple during the school’s Art Week. With help from several local artists and the nonprofit Columbia Gorge Arts in Education, students had a full week of art-focused curriculum. An open house for the students’ art will be Jan. 18, from 3:30-6 p.m.
