Donald Raymond Westhusing, 89, former middle school teacher in Odell, Hood River and Portland, died Oct. 18, 2011. He was born Sept. 27, 1922, to George and Clela Westhusing,
Don is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret; sons Brickford, Calvin, James and Bill; daughters Cameron, Linelle and Dennice; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 2408 S.E. 16th Ave., Portland, Ore., followed by a reception.
