An excited mob of youngsters scour the grassy slopes of Jackson Park during the 2012 Community Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning. Elapsed time before all eggs were found: about 30 seconds. The Columbia Gorge Fellowship of Churches hid more than 7,000 plastic eggs, and children ages 1-10 each received a goodie bag. A safety fair was also held from 10 a.m. to noon, with help from Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital and the Hood River Fire Department.
