Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Dec. 13 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — A student was cited for assault IV.

Dec. 17 — N.W. Lakeside Drive, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for strangulation and assault IV.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

None reported

Disorderly conduct, mischief, trespass and vandalism:

Dec. 19 — Country Club Road, 1900 block — Deputies investigated a report of an explosive device found inside a mailbox.

Dec. 13 — Lost Lake Road, 5100 block — Officer took report of criminal trespass.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Dec. 15 — S.W. Watts Avenue at S.W. Cascade Avenue, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for DUII alcohol and his vehicle towed.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

None reported

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Dec. 9 — Tucker Road at Portland Drive — Male cited for no operators license and failure to carry proof of insurance. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Dec. 12 — Tucker Road, 1600 block — Vehicle towed after a traffic stop for no insurance.

Dec. 13 — Dee Highway at Bassler Drive — Officer investigated a single-vehicle roll-over crash due to black ice. There were no injuries, and the vehicle was towed.

Dec. 15 — Old Columbia River Drive at Highway 35 — Abandoned vehicle blocking the right lane of Highway 35 towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Dec. 10 — S.W. Cascade Avenue, 100 block — Cascade Locks male violated terms of his probation by testing positive for methamphetamine and marijuana. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Dec. 10 — Ehrck Hill Drive, 3700 block — Juvenile male taken into custody for a probation violation.

Theft or burglary:

Dec. 11 — N.W. Clark Street, 0-100 block, Cascade Locks — Officer responded to a report of a burglary.

Dec. 14 — S.W. Sadie Avenue, 800 block, Cascade Locks — Deputies took report of burglary I and assault IV.

Sex offenses:

Dec. 11 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested for failing to register as a sex offender and a probation violation, and lodged at NORCOR.

Dec. 17 — N.W. Lakeside Drive, 0-100 block — Male arrested for failure to report as a sex offender and lodged at NORCOR.

Other:

Dec. 9 — Culbertson Drive, 4700 block — Deputies responded to an unattended death.
