Fatal crash closes Hwy 35 near Mt. Hood Meadows

Update 4:18 p.m.: The Highway has re-opened in both directions. However a winter travel advisory remains in effect for mountain roads and drivers are urged to use caution.

From Oregon State Police:

A double fatal crash on Hwy 35 has closed the highway near milepost 78. Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on in icy conditions. The highway is likely to remain closed until later tonight.
