Williams at The Pines Nov. 23

It’s a Thanksgiving weekend celebration at The Pines with live music from Kerry Williams on Friday, Nov. 23, 3-6 p.m. Enjoy wine tasting, including a new wine release, an art exhibit, live music, and holiday cheer.

Black Friday Dance Party

It’s a Black Friday Dance Party at Everybody’s Brewing with McDougall followed by DJ sets featuring McDougall and McFritz spinning their favorite vinyl on Friday, Nov 23, at Everybody's Brewing. The party starts at 9:30 p.m. and dancing shoes are required.

On Wednesday it’s Karaoke Night, a Thanksgiving Eve tradition starting at 9:30 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving Day. Sunday, Nov. 25, Last Local Sunday featuring Bob Connolly, 6-8 p.m.

Lolo Mo at The Pint Shack

On Wednesday, Nov. 21, it’s music from Lolo Mo at the Pint Shack from 7:30-9:30 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 24, it’s the Scott Pemberton Band starting at 9 p.m. The Pint Shack, 105 Fourth St., Hood River; 541-387-7600.

Bill Rhoades, Tess Barr at CEBU

Friday, Nov. 23: Bill Rhoades & the Party Kings, 9:30 p.m. – Harp Driven, House Rockin’ Electric Blues

Bill Rhoades has been called the "Godfather" of the Northwest Blues scene. Growing up in Eugene, Rhoades became interested in the blues in the mid 1960's by listening to the British Invasion groups. In the early 1970s he formed his first band “The Rhythm Kings.”

Saturday, Nov. 24: Tess Barr Blues Band 9:30 p.m. – Raw, Rockin’ Blues, Gorge-style. Hood River’s own Tess Barr and crew play a broad range of soulful blues favorites and original tunes. Come see why they are the Gorge’s favorite blues band.

Old-Fashioned Open House

An Old-Fashioned Holiday Open House will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fort Dalles Museum's Anderson House, 500 W. 16th Street, The Dalles.

Bring your camera and your kids or grandkids to take a photo with Santa, who will be handing out candy canes.

Lots of gift items and stocking stuffers will be for sale at the Fort Dalles Museum Surgeon’s Quarters across the street. There will be music, and cookies and hot cider will be served. A raffle will be held for a watercolor painting of Fort Dalles. The drawing will be at 3:30 p.m.
