With the first layer of rain in months finally on the trails this week, dusty-face gritty-teeth riding is over and fall riding season has officially begun. Get into the swing of the season Saturday with a work party on one of the best trail systems in the county.
The 44 Trails Association is hosting a trail work day on Oct. 20, in the Knebal Springs area of the Hwy. 44 trails system. Rain or shine, the work party will meet at Dirty Fingers bike shop at 8 a.m. and Little John SnoPark at about 9:30 a.m. Efforts will be focused on a connector trail near Knebal Springs. Lunch will be provided by New York City Sub Shop and participants will be awarded with swag from a handful of generous businesses.
