All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River between Oct. 22 and 28.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

None reported

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Oct. 26 — State Street, 300 block — Female charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and arrested on a warrant.

Oct. 26 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Juvenile cited for minor in possession of alcohol and released to ride the bus home.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, trespass and vandalism:

Oct. 24 — AGA Road, 3300 block — Officer took report of slashed tires on two vehicles, the first of seven reports taken overnight.

Oct. 24 — Willow Road, 3200 block — Report of punctured tires at another Odell residence.

Oct. 24 — Gateway Drive, 3400 block — Third report of punctured tires.

Oct. 24 — Cooper Spur Road, 7800 block — Officer responded to the Parkdale area on a report of punctured tires.

Oct. 24 — Jones Loop, 3500 block — Fifth report of punctured tires filed.

Oct. 24 — Eastside Drive, 2000 block — Sixth report of punctured tires.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

None reported

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

Oct. 24 — State Street, 300 block — A Pine Grove resident reported an identity theft.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Oct. 24 — I-84 at milepost 63 — Officer investigated a single vehicle crash.

Oct. 25 — Highway 35 at Central Vale Road — Officer assisted at the scene of a fatal crash.

Oct. 25 — Summit Road — Vehicle towed for no license, no insurance and unlawful operation of a class III on a highway.

Oct. 27 — Cooper Spur at Mt. Hood Towing — Officer struck a deer with the patrol car.

Oct. 28 — Cascade Avenue at 13th Street — Vehicle stopped for defective lighting. Driver had no operator’s license and was not insured, and the vehicle towed.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Oct. 25 — Henderson Road — Officer took report of a restraining order violation.

Oct. 28 — Cascade Avenue, 3600 block — Male arrested for two probation violation warrants and a probation violation. During a post arrest search, a hypodermic needle was located on his person, another violation of probation conditions. He was lodged at NORCOR.

Theft or burglary:

Oct. 23 — I-84 at milepost 62 — Two males were arrested for multiple crimes, initiated by The Dalles Police for the theft of cell phones.

Oct. 23 — Odell Highway, 3300 block — Resident reported the theft of a license plate while parked near an Odell business.

Sex offenses:

Oct. 25 — Mason Road — Officer received a report from a female who lives out of the area alleging her daughter had been molested a week ago in Hood River. The alleged suspect is the juvenile uncle, who also lives out of the area.


Oct. 22 — Westcliff Drive, 4000 block — Officer notified by dispatch of a missing person report.

Oct. 24 — Viento State Park — The Camp Host called to report he had found a magazine with six 40 caliber bullets, located in the parking lot of Starvation Creek park.

Oct. 25 — Wy’east Road, 3000 block — Officer recovered a found bicycle.

Oct. 26 — S.E. Mountain View Drive, 900 block, Cascade Locks — Deputies took a report of criminal mistreatment.

Oct. 26 — Lauren Road, 5900 block — Deputies took a report of possible criminal mistreatment.
