Dr. Tyler Gray joined Columbia Gorge Family Medicine this summer after completing his family medicine training at the residency program in Milwaukie, Ore.
He joins the clinician team of doctors Tony Gay, Stephen Becker, Kristen Dillon and Elizabeth Foster, physician assistant Clara DeLeon and nurse practitioners Ingrid Flanders and Megan Barton.
During residency, Gray spent a month working at the clinic as well as other sites in Hood River. As he was finishing the program, Gray accepted the practice’s offer to come back and work in Hood River for the long term.
Dr. Gray welcomes new patients of all ages and offers a broad range of primary care services. He provides obstetric care for pregnant women, as do his colleagues Becker, Dillon and Foster.
Although he enjoys all aspects of primary care, he especially enjoys sports medicine, adolescent medicine, obstetrics and minor procedures. He also speaks Spanish.
A graduate of Stanford University and UC Davis Medical School, Gray lived in several communities in the West growing up. He graduated from high school in Redding Calif., where his father is a large-animal veterinarian.
Gray and the other physicians at Columbia Gorge Family Medicine all continue to provide care at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital for their patients of any age who need to be hospitalized.
While the team’s goal is always to take care of health conditions in ways that keep people healthy and at home, clinic providers can stay involved in a patient’s care should a stay in the hospital become necessary.
