HRVHS baseball troubled by Jesuit squad

Hood River Valley High School varsity baseball traveled to Jesuit this week and suffered a tough 8-0 loss against the 6A Crusaders. The Eagles, now 5-5, had two hits in the game and were unable to build any offensive momentum after allowing five runs in the third inning and three more in the fifth.

The team looks to shake off the loss as it travels to Bend this weekend for a doubleheader against the Bears Saturday. Redmond travels to Hood River April 9 for the next home game (4:30 p.m.) and the last outing before league play starts April 13 at Pendleton.
