Man found dead at park

Oregon State Police, with the assistance of the medical examiner, is investigating the cause of death of an adult male found shortly after midnight Wednesday morning by an OSP trooper in a vehicle parked off Interstate 84 west of Hood River.

According to Sergeant Les Kipper, on April 10 at approximately 12:30 a.m., an OSP trooper stopped to check on a vehicle parked in Mitchell Point State Park along I-84 eastbound at exit 58.

The trooper found a deceased 57-year-old male inside the vehicle. Preliminary information provided by a family member indicates the man had been visiting his son in Oregon and was in poor health.

The man has been identified as Kenneth Scott Dennis, from Dundalk, Md. According to OSP, there is no indication of a crime.
